The Sweet Treat Trail is all about the unique sweets and treats that Cayuga County has to offer. Whether it's honey or jam or homemade cookies made with locally grown and produced products, we have everything to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. From north to south in Cayuga County it seems like all roads lead to yummy goodness!

The Cayuga County Office of Tourism is rolling out its new ‘Sweet Treat’ trail promotion with a brochure that celebrates Cayuga County’s unique sweets and treats made with fresh, local products. There are seventeen stops on the trail, along with eight Farmers Markets, that feature everything from baked goods to jams and jellies to honey and much more.

In the Village of Aurora, Bet the Farm is a winery and regional gourmet market featuring plenty of things for sweet lovers - dessert wines, maple syrup, jams, jellies and even peanut brittle. Travel north to Weedsport and make a visit to Giancarelli Brothers; a farm, farm stand, store, u-pick and a winery. Fruit pies, fruit wines, jams and jellies are al available for sweet treat lovers. Or take a scenic drive along Lake Ontario and visit the Fly By Night Cookie Company for homemade pastries, cookies, pies and cakes made from scratch with real eggs, butter, and fresh fruit from local farms. No chemicals or preservatives added! Each stop along the trail offers a special sweet treat stop to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings!
